Lawson Manor & Rehab is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized memory care in our dedicated female dementia unit. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend RN Supervisor.
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts while ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and support for nursing staff. The ideal candidate is a confident clinical leader who is able to work independently, make sound decisions, and provide high-quality nursing care with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for promoting residents' well-being while educating residents and their families and fostering a compassionate, resident-centered environment.
Qualifications
Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Thorough knowledge of nursing care methods, medication administration, and infection prevention practices
Working knowledge of CMS and Missouri long-term care regulations
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
Essential Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts while promoting teamwork and accountability.
Monitor resident conditions, perform nursing assessments, and identify changes requiring intervention.
Observe and interpret resident symptoms and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, hospice, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures according to physician orders and facility policies.
Ensure physician orders are implemented accurately and timely.
Perform routine nursing procedures, including assessments, vital signs, medication administration, injections, wound care, and other prescribed treatments.
Accurately document assessments, treatments, medications, and resident responses in the electronic medical record.
Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergency situations.
Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and changes in resident condition according to facility policy.
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents, families, and staff through education and effective communication.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services requirements, infection prevention standards, and facility policies.
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and maintain survey readiness.
Assist with staffing needs and provide direct resident care when necessary.
Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life at all times.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team.
Qualifications
Current Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
Monitor and accurately document vital signs, assessments, treatments, and resident responses.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
Coordinate resident care with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, hospice, and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise, delegate, and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing personnel while ensuring quality resident care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic medical records.
Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and changes in condition.
Ensure compliance with federal and Missouri state regulations, infection prevention practices, and facility policies.
Provide education and support to residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and health conditions.
Participate in care conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Promote a positive, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
Assist residents with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
Provide compassionate emotional support, companionship, and encouragement while promoting resident dignity and independence.
Answer resident call lights promptly and assist with resident needs.
Observe, document, and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental status.
Assist with restorative care and rehabilitation activities as directed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Follow infection prevention procedures and all facility safety policies.
Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident care.
